XIV international Elbrus Race — since 1989/2005
Dear mountain friends, we invite you to take part at international Elbrus Race!
Its history started from the "first edition" Elbrus races organized by legendary soviet climber Vladimir Balyberdin and his friends at 1989/1990

Why autumn? Why September?
Because September is better - see explanation bellow!!
  • Summer climbing season is over, you have fantastic shape and acclimatization - why not use that to learn more about Your physical abilities?
  • The weather at September is still good, but there are no crowds on Elbrus slopes and at the valley, so one could enjoy the Caucasus nature with clean of people Elbrus climb
  • It is easy to find cheap accommodation at the valley - each hotel is happy to welcome guests at that period of year + we prepared PAX package for You
  • Since 2005 we always had good snow conditions on the route - just small icy spots, while ice is quite destroyed with sun so route ensures fast and safe racing!
  • All World absolute records for speed ascents to Elbrus from Baksan valley were set at September, at international Elbrus Race - so come and compete with outstanding athletes of now-days and the past
